Deputy General Manager – IT
Noida / Project Sites
Job Summary:
The Deputy General Manager – IT will lead the organization’s overall IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital systems, and technology operations across corporate offices and Solar EPC project sites.
The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure for corporate and project environments, including servers, networks, firewalls, cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, ERP/HRMS, cybersecurity, IT assets, site connectivity, and industrial communication networks.
The position will also have hands-on involvement in SCADA systems and industrial networking for Solar PV projects, including SCADA architecture, communication infrastructure, server configuration, networking, data acquisition, remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with SCADA/OEM teams.
The DGM – IT will work closely with Project, Engineering, O&M, Electrical, SCADA, Cybersecurity, ERP, and external technology vendors to ensure reliable and secure technology infrastructure throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Master’s degree/MCA/M.Tech/MBA in IT/Technology Management will be an advantage.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, industrial IT/OT, or SCADA environments.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial/senior leadership position.
- Experience in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, Power, Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, or Infrastructure projects preferred.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure across multiple locations/project sites.
- Hands-on experience in SCADA/industrial networking and project implementation is preferred.
